Pros & Cons
Pros
I keep mine in a tupperware container half full of mineral spirits to keep it lubricated. Just recommend taking some very fine bead blast bead and surfacing it on a flat piece of steel with some oil or solvent.
Cons
You never know - some folks are just unreasonable. This stone isn't anywhere close to flat. It's simply too far out of spec to work. Sadly, the 1-star reviews are spot on.
Highlights
Quality
Great for kitchen knives, keeps blade usefully sharp with just a quick touch no oil, acts as much as a burnish as metal cutting.
These stones are great for removing high spots off die plates, burrs form reference surfaces without affecting the surface.

This particular stone i wanted for rough stoning machines surfaces where i want to knock off burrs etc before mounting an angle plate.
Shipping
I bought three of them, two of them arrive normally and i am using them happily.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging worked so it arrived in good condition.
However, it's very prone to becoming packed with material when stoning aluminum.
Competitiveness
This norton stone works better than any arkansas stone that i have used.

If using on thicker metal as found in an axe start with the brown side for dulled axes and then move to the orange side or just start with the orange side for an axe that needs a sharp fine edge put back on

The previous owners did not appear to be careful about maintaining the table as there were a lot of nicks and dropped tool marks
