This was advertised as general grinding stone. It disintegrates when you touch it with any piece of steel. That is a disappointment since it was once a great company!

Quality

Amazed at the great finish produced on my lathe tools with this wheel.

This wheel has a uniform and well made appearance and it rings well when tapped with a hard object.

The plastic shims are worthless and i ended up making my own out of wood to make it run true.

Old wheel still cutting but is finally getting too small diameter.

Price

At this price i cant complain though.

Don’t mess with the cheaper stuff, will cost you more in the long run.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging should have been better, as this is the second one sent.

Competitiveness

Powertec is just more useless chinese crap for the fast dollar.
