Pros & Cons
Pros
My stovetop percolator on my gas stove took8 minutes to start percolating. They give the kiddos halloween candy and occasionally let them operate the handle in the truck. I couldn't be happier!
The temperature is just right, we like ours piping hot. Brews around 10 massive cups or 20 regular cups of coffee. It's does take awhile to brew (30 mins) bit for the amount it brews its definitely not one of my complaints!
Cons
It brews 1 cup per minute so don't expect a quick brew. After a couple of hours, it re-brews any coffe left in the urn and that tastes really bad. Put away in the garage for throwaway. No warranty listed on amazon.
Highlights
Quality
It does not leak like our previous model did, we are very happy with the purchase.
This is very high quality for a great price.
You’re still fiddling around with the filters and i’m already half way done brewing and enjoying my guests.
Shipping
Brews very quickly, seller shipping was fast, great value
Packaging/appearance
For some reason the coffee doesn’t come out of the spout very well as if a vacuum inside the pot is holding it back.
We just found the little spring in the sink drain.
Competitiveness
I don't know if that also means you can't keep 1 or 2 cups 'warm' or not after you've poured yourself a mug of coffee.
So 10 cups is 50 ounces or 6 1/2 (8oz) cups.
