Pros
This is the cutest microwave if you are looking for a retro style. Bought this for the nostalgic pink color.
The dial holds up to heavy use.
Cons
Side panel gets hot also and this is just using it for 2 minute reheating. I find the beeps to be excessively loud, so i'm always trying to make sure i stop it before it's done cooking so i only have to hear one loud beep.
The coating inside the microwave on the ceiling is peeling and looks rusty. Now i'm afraid to use it, because i don't know if it could be contaminating my water and food.

Takes a little longer to cook things, instead of 1 minute today for my corn dog it took 85 seconds and it was perfect!
After four years my previous black retro microwave suddenly went kaput giving off a horrible hum and my muffin was not warmed.
I went to open the door and it was stuck, solid shut.

And this one works well for the price, while adding cuteness to any kitchen with its vibrant color and retro style.
I give this product 5 big stars because it is has been tested by me over the last decade and for the price, this is well worth it.

So i looked at the manual and the new procedure is to push the little 34lock34 button you cant miss it and the door opens
