It isnt super heavy duty protection but i can say that i dropped my phone accidentally on concrete while getting out of the car and the case prevented my note 5 from getting damaged at all amazingly the case didnt even get scratched

It doesnt cover the camera it takes great pictures no problem with any shadow at all

The only thing that i would say is do not stick the phone in a pants pocket if the color is a little transferable

It must of been the 2nd or third day with my phone and now it is blue on the rubbery areas

To clarify the white liner part of the case is not soft more like slightly pliableladies makeup and sticky fingers kids lol will rub off on the case making it appear dingy

The surface is beveled up and raised so you can put your phone faced down without harming the screen
