Pros & Cons

Pros

The prints look wonderful once it is dialed in. It gufflaws at my emery cloth. Solving any issues with print interruption caused by knitting or breakage.

Nice large spool of silk rainbow 3d printer filament. It's the cheapest filament i could find on amazon, but maybe that's the reason. Kg pla spool on a lightening deal so really can't beat the price on this quality pla filament.

The color is 9/10 for being neon/lime green, its just a slight shade off, but you can hardly tell unless it's next to something else that is the correct shade. It has an almost metallic finish, which to me looks like anodized rainbow metal.

This is an important manufacturing qc point and it needs attention.

Cons

The hairs are so fine my cooling fans on the hot end kept getting clogged. This becomes a serious problem with big globs of plastic that then mar surfaces. When printing there was constant popping from hitting a bubble.

Filament looks nice but garbage if cant even spool the filament properly. Jammed nozzle repeatedly (pla wood filament) almost 5 minutes in.

Quality

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price.

I print a ton of figures and toys with the novamaker filament.

But for pla it is a very good product.

I've only done a few prints with the filament.

Price

The filament was neatly wound on the spool, the spool was sturdy and the price was right.

Most low cost filaments like this feel cheap and are super stringy, but this filament is actually pretty good.

Competitiveness

Good filament all round for the price.
