This iron works with the batteries i use with my planes, heats fast, very controlled temp, and cools remarkably fast.
It heats to 300c in less than a minute and stays hot even when soldering 16-gauge wires together.
It's odd that the ac cord and power supply are so bulky.
Price
For what i paid for this, i could buy 6 or 7 cheap irons that last longer.
A $20 75w full solder kit i bought on amazon worked circles around this.
For the price they charge, i feel like they could have thrown in such an adapter, but whatever.

Although it has a usb plug that says it can be used for power usb is 5 volt and this expects 9 volt
