Pros

Fructose is a better sugar than sucrose also known as white sugar, or processed sugar. This is the only sweetener that i use in my baking. It helps me prevent blood sugar spikes because fructose is more easily processed in the body.

Test your blood sugar in the morning on an empty stomach.

The best part of fructose is that it sweetens better and takes less. My personal preference is for coconut palm sugar, which has a rich, caramel flavor.

Cons

The castner-kellner process is the most unhealthy way to sweeten fructose. Fructose is a *! Latino immigrants eat far more fruit than most americans, yet many of them are pudgy.

High fructose corn syrup is 55% fructose & 45% glucose. Fructose is the #1 cause of diabetes and heart disease in the deceloped world. I think it is deceptive of now to label their fructose sugar as fructose fruit sugar when it's not.
