Pros
All you need is an android device with nfc & tagmo app to write the amiibo data to the card. It had seamless connectivity with my phone and my nintendo switch. Not much to write, they are exactly what you expect and work.
Cons
Althought the description of the product states that this will work for amiibos backup, no it wont. Althought it would work for backup, but nt.

It has a glossy surface so writing with any kind of pen is a nono it wont stick or dry just smudge and separate
