My 8 year old daughter has been using her kindle since christmas of 2015 and we haven't had any issues with the case at all.
Very pretty color, shipped quickly although after my kindle even though i bought them together with the kids package.
I hunted it down on amazon after seeing it bundled with the kindle for kids.
