The instruction booklet still describes this assembly. An additional one page instruction sheet is included explaining the new procedure. This is worth every penny.

Tons of forums and youtube videos discussing the exact same malfunction. I feel bad because their products are really nice but this bad experience leaves me sad and disheartened.

The black lid/blade section leaks. The gasket/seal isn't easy to remove for cleaning. If there is *anything* on those treads when you screw the lid/blade part in, it will come undone while you are blending it.

Lasted 1. To me, that's absurd, that within a few months on buying a new product that is still under warranty, i needed to pay 22 percent of the cost to get a replacement.

This is deafeningly loud. Horribly design, and ear piercing loud. It sounds like a freight train running through your house when it operates.
