Pros & Cons
Pros
Pre-x gives me the boost i need for a late day workout. This new formula is also great and as long as the pricing stays, then pre-x is still my favorite high-dose pre-workout at a great value.
Caffeine is at 300mg which is pretty good and strong if you are sensitive maybe do half. It contains good servings of beta alanine and citriliune malate ect. The dosing on this product is perfect. I use 1/2-3/4 of scoop.
Nutricost is my go to brand for my own use as well as one i suggest to my clients. Clean energy, nice full pump, no * afterwards. It hits pretty quick usually within 10-15 minutes.
It's definitely within my budget. Bargain items are not perfect, and it's easy enough to fix. Nutricost never fails to deliver.
Cons
Caffeine has caused irritation to my gut. I am lactose intolerant and thought it was my whey protein causing it. Itc amohetamines; taurine and beta slimines are also dangerous stimulants.
It's ok to just * down and get it over with- smell was terrible. It smells like a mix between terrible cereal and (according to my mom), bad waffle batter. The flavor of this when following the mixing instructions is horrible. It's sour, doesn't disso... Read More

The formula provides a great pump and helps me stay focused and energized.
He's been using it for 2 months and he's absolutely hooked.
Taste is way too sweet so backoff the sucralose please!
Price
It was a great value in terms of cost.
At $34 for 60 servings, you really can’t beat the price.
Don’t get sucked into the hype of tiny tubs that cost a fortune.
Less than $40 for 60 servings of 300 mg of caffeine in preworkout is insane.
Competitiveness
Tried all sorts of pre work out and this is, in my humble opinion, is as good as any top brand.
The price point is great and it's a well rounded brand with great options.
If i’m running short on cash for some of the bigger less known brands i always gravitate back to nutricost pre.
I would have to compare it to recon pre, without the pump.
