Pros
Single burner hot plate completes my emergency preparedness kit as we head into a busy hurricane season. The top handles larger pans than most of the others like it. The ability to control the temperature is a benefit.

It is really a great product and induction cooking is excellent!
Aluminum is a poor conductor of induction heat thus unlike a gas burner one size does not fit all.
Plugs in to a regular wall outlet and doesn't heat up the kitchen like standard electric burners.
Price
Inexpensive and good quality for what is intended.
Great lower cost experiment to ensure we would like induction.
This convinced us to bite the bullet and spend a few thousand $$$ on a replacement cooktop to the propane.
I got the extra warranty for four years just in case for $15.
