They can get into the holes where hummingbirds stick their beaks so you can clean the feeders because that stuff can be toxic if you cant get in there to clean it out and a qtip is too big

The bristles are more widely spaced than higherpriced bristles and are not very long along the stem so there is more wear on each bristle to get your job done
