Cant figure out how to remove the mop head for washing after unlocking it however

As my purchase of the subject review the current twist microfiber twist mop head will not mount to my somewhat earliervintage ocedar twist mop handle assembly quite twistable but non ratcheting im not apt to know bout the headsperformance until having purchased one of the new handles neither of which appear to have received rave reviews

Then got the replacement which is not good because when you collapse the mop to wash the floor it doesnt lock into the base at all

Its difficult to get the head out and back on after washing

I actually came on here to buy a replacement head and when i saw the reviews i was rather suprised more people didnt like it
