Pros

Most medicated balms seem to include menthol and/or camphor among the ingredients. I have been having issues with my lips being dry and broken to the point that they hurt and sometimes bled. This balm actually works!

It seems a bit thicker/creamier than the original. Yes, it is a different formula, but i personally like it. The price is also really good for two when compared with comparable products.

This o'keefe's is more like vaseline in stick form, but it's exactly what is needed when your lips have really gotten bad. Thank you o'keeffe for thee wonderful product. Keeffe.

This keeps my lips moisturized and not just coated. It's moisturizing and lips stay soft for hours. I am a side sleeper and my face is basically planted in my pillow or a blanket all night.

Cons

The smell/flavor is off putting at first, but that dissolves away shortly after applying. It leaves an uncomfortable and unpleasant waxy feeling on the lips. Just like all the other trash balms.

Best stuff ever for little lip cuts and split lips it will heal and seal.

This stuff works wonders on chapped and peeling lips.

Used thus product for about a week and our lips were healed.

They were raw and painful and red and they’re literally back to normal after 3 hours.

I even bought that expensive stuff that comes in a tiny tube but that didn't work either!

Came 2 in a pack, one tube was melted and all over the package and the other tube was partially melted.

Competitiveness

It’s the best at soothing the discomfort i feel from my dry lips and seems to stay on a bit longer than other brands, too.

This in itself isn't revolutionary and many other brands do this as well already.

This one is quite indiscernible in comparison so i wouldn't let that deter anyone who is sensitive to smells.

Not a huge fan of the fact that it contains petroleum product, but it’s tons better than most drug store lip balms on the market.
