The only difference i noticed was that there was no polarized etching in the bottom corner of there lenses like there was on my original oakley lenses

I see that text in the corner of my eye and it is distracting and looks like there is a smudge on my lenses

They are great at reducing glare but you will also see odd patterns and color effects that you wont see with nonpolarized lenses

For example when driving a car you will see checker patterns in the windows of other cars especially rear windows because that glass is polarized as well
