This thread sealant came in a small plastic container that was sealed in a plastic bag to prevent leakage in shipping.
But package is plastic bottle that got crushed and cracked in transit.

When i removed the container from the bag there appeared to be a small amount of oily leakage from the container which i dried with a paper towel

While i used this compound on metal fitting threads it should be useful for pvc screw on fittings too

The compound is a bit oily and that probably explains why it does not dry out and harden after application

Be sure to mix well before using as it separates and will be too oily and thin

Product worked well but oil leaked out of the can into the plastic bag that contained it and was shipped in a bag instead of a secure box
