Unscrew the old and screw on the new. This is also the cheapest option i could find for this part. Easy to install and just following the instructions.

Cons

It works but makes flapping noise as the vent flutters to allow air in. I reach under the sink and press down on the spring and it drains instantly. This vent is complete junk.
