The ad is completely misleading. This seat looks indented but it is really quite flat. There are two insets on the bottom of the seat that used to have liquid gel in them.

There are many gel seats priced higher than this but for the money this is a great buy!

I weigh about 170 lbs and the difference it makes every morning that i sit on it is honestly worth 20x what i paid.
