Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a good gift for youngsters learning music, friends who like to glamp, or just to pull out when a family gathering occurs. Send to be in good tune (a lot of toy ocarinas are in no tune at all, but this does not feel like a toy).
Ohuhu 12-hole ocarina is simple and should be fun to learn. There are some beginner ocarinas that are 4 hole. Comes with a book of zelda (and nursery) rhymes to practice to. Great for beginners for the price.
The notes it produce are clear, resonating and haunting. The sound does not disturb you at all it’s very soothing!
It comes with a songbook, bag, cloth, and neck strap. The carrying pouch is a very nice touch.
The color is amazing. Other than that it's beautiful. Don't get me wrong, it is gorgeous.
Highlights
Quality
It is really a quality made instrument.
Fairly durable, easy to read book, good size.
Send to be in good tune (a lot of toy ocarinas are in no tune at all, but this does not feel like a toy).
This ocarina simply isnt made for real playability.
Price
Highly recommended and a great price for gifting!
This would make a really nice gift and is priced appropriately.
Reasonably price for someone wanting to learn or for a gift.
It's not some masterwork wind instrument or anything, but it is decent for the price and is playable.
Packaging/appearance
It also came with a nice themed wrist strap, as well as a non-themed basic black nylon carrying case.
Its little hand holder is hilarious, and the fact that it came with a travel bag is amazing.
The packaging is not at all fancy.
This ocarina arrived without a scratch in easy-to-open packaging.
Competitiveness
However, the sound seems good to me for this type of instrument and comparable for more expensive instruments on the market.
I was interested in comparing it to some of the other products on the market that perhaps aren't as attractive but advertise as... Read More
