It seems very strong and well made.
The metal clasp rotates so no matter what side your items are on you can spin them in the direction needed.
The clasp ring itself is metal and feels quite solid, so i am fairly confident that the key will stay safe on it.

The little tiny ring on a loop is a nice extra if i need to hang something on the lanyard that lacks a big enough hole for the big clasp ring

It doesnt feel heavy around the neck even with an attached hand warmer

Then i remembered that most hand warmers double as power banks

Plus if you cover the hand warmer you can slip it inside your coat and get warmth where you didnt know you needed it until you try it
