I received my oculus quest 2 elite strap a few days ago and upon using it ive noticed that when its done up tightly and i unitighten it it makes a loud pop noise which can get annoying

Until i bought the vive headset strap for the quest 2 not i cant use the case because the headset is too big

Nope and its not even close when you consider that these things crack and snap a lot
