Pros
An advantage that i personally find is that the elite strap is substantively easier to clean than default straps. This strap is on the pricey end, but worth the price of admission.
The same flexible cup is suspended, so it's free to slide out of the way easily when you slip it on and off.
I find this strap really stabilizes the quest 2 vr headset. It is still very stable with a much looser tightness of the strap for me. Added bonus my wife and i both prefer a different interface.
Cons
Tried super gluing it back together. This thing is so brittle it's probably cheaper than a * mcdonald's happy meal toy.
Elite strap has a well-known manufacturing issue causing * wear and cracking of the side straps. Second strap has multiple horizontal hair line cracks, as well as vertical cracks developing.

For higher end games you'll need to tether to your pc.
