The basement gets damp on the east wall and floor and it has been smelling musty for a while

I got a small household dehumidifier to run which helped a little and it is still running with controlling some humidity but there was still a strong musty smell

I put them in the basement but they did not do much to get rid of the mildew so i moved them to other parts of the house

It moves a lot of air we set the timer for it to run for 3 hours and after doing that for 2 or 3 days it has made a huge difference
