Pros & Cons
Pros
The stove unfolds and sits very sturdy. Folded up it fits nicely inside my nesting pans. It condenses down into a compact plastic cube box, ensuring it doesn't hog space in my backpack.
The odoland 6800w camp stove is well made and performs well even in wind. The durable construction gives me confidence that it will withstand the rigors of outdoor use for many trips to come. For its price point, the odoland camp stove offers solid va... Read More
This stove is a game-changer for outdoor cooking. Used a cast iron skillet to cook hotdogs tonight. It boils water as needed.
Super lightweight, legs expand to hold pan or small pot, and hose is long enough to reach an upright propane tank. Easy to adjust the flame. Windproof design ensures that the flame stays steady.
Cons
Adapter doesn't work - it fails to screw into any standard coleman propane bottle. All that happens is that propane sprays out and the pressure pushes the connector away. When using propane all gaskets leak.
The needle valve is incredibly touchy. The baffle plate seems like it needs to be closer to the main fuel baffles. I keep it on a non-slip mat while using and it still manages to flip over and a foot will collapse.
It leaks when off. Thought maybe an o-ring had cracked due to defect/mishandling on my part. Also gas leak at the connection despite * on tightly, freezing the components, causing more leak.
This little tripod stove is very precarious in my opinion. The address given in nyc appears to be a mail service fwiw.
