Pros & Cons
Pros
Will be purchasing a 4th set for myself. The only disappointment that i have is that there are no clear instructions.
The poles are adjustable and come with different tips. The poles telescope super long and accommodate even my 6'+ husband's arms! The different attachments for the bottom are separate, and you need to remove the rubber bottom that it comes with before... Read More
These are not nearly as cheaply made as some i've seen. The poles are a little darker blue than the snow shoes, but that’s okay with me. Walking stick is included that can be used for hiking as well as snow.
The buckle system for your boots is way better than any i have used before. The two front straps are that rigid sort of plastic, and they have the ratcheting mechanism to tighten them. The buckles have a lever for cranking the strap down to your boot,... Read More
The decking is a nice middle ground between flexible and strong. They are sturdy and have attachments for snow, concrete and gravel.
Cons
The fastening on the snowshoe itself is less than. My biggest disappointment is that i sent a message to the distributor (had to go directly to them) and they never even responded. The video, pics and general description of this product advertise heel... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Sturdy, well-made snowshoes, poles, and boot leg covers.
These snowshoes are sturdy, lightweight and well made.
Heel strap bucket has a very short peg - doesn't engage deep into the strap holes (held tight in my first 10 minute snow test).
The heel strap is also easily snapped into place in seconds.
Price
For roughly the price of 3 snowshoe rentals, you can own these outright.
These are great snowshoes for the money.
At around $100, they are more then adequate for me.
This is a good product for the price.
Shipping
Fast delivery in the middle of winter!
Came in one day, too, in time for lots of snow fun!
Packaging/appearance
Good package with everything you need to get started.
They came in the colour my daughter loves (and compliments her bibs and jacket).
The package comes with adjustable poles with different ends as well as serviceable gaiters.
I didn’t need the gaiters this time, as there was a packed trail most of the time.
Competitiveness
In full disclosure, i can't compare these to other snow shoes as these are my first pair.
I had to return other brands that were nice but had faulty binding systems.
