Pros
The chin strap is adjustable to fit a wide range of sizes. This is a lightweight helmet so my son feels very comfortable wearing it, the air vent makes good ventilation.
Construction is sturdy. The pink helmet is sturdy and i like the dial on the back of the helmet to tighten it. The packaging alone highlights the quality of the product.
It has a very nice matte black finish and the lining is soft and so so warm. The chin strap also has some nice cushioning. The ear pieces are also supposed to be removable for washing like the adult version.

She hasn't had to use it yet but i am very impressed by the quality of it.
Build quality is good and there are no manufacturing defects on it.
I really can't tell a substantial quality difference between this one and those that are much more expensive.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging box is nice, wrapped in a black duffle and helmet is secured in another wrapper.

There isn’t much room so she won’t be wearing a beanie underneath the helmet

After trying several times to remove the ear pieces for fear i’d break the plastic tab that clips them into the helmet

The negatives are the vents don’t close the ear pieces are difficult to remove for washing and the ear pads don’t have the deep cups that the adult helmet has

If this was a child size version of the adult helmet they make i would have given it five stars
