It's a thick plastic with matte finish, so it feels really nice. It also has detachable ear covers and it's comfortable it has velvety cushioning across the top of your head and around the sides. Removable ear pieces for summer vs winter activities.

Got this in a medium for my 16-year old son. It fit snugly & comfortably on his giant noggin. Has a knob on the back you can adjust to make it fit exactly how you want. Can be tighten to really fit my head but can be loosen to allow for layers.

The buckle is pretty easy to adjust and get undone. The adjustability is easy with no protruding parts and it holds well.

Helmet looks great and has a great shape, but was not comfortable.
