Pros

This helmet is comfortable and decently warm. Ear pads click in snug and very warm. The liner is very warm, even on cold days.

The visor removes with a screw driver if you want to use face fitting ski goggles or need to use a different lens for cloudy days. The goggles are a bit fragile to scratching, but if taken care of, should last me several seasons. Also, these ski goggl... Read More

It raises and lowers easily with one hand. It has a foam seal for around the cheeks & nose that works very well.

The helmet itself is lightweight and fits comfortably well. It's comfortable and lightweight. Visor seems to be well-made and the hinges are pretty sturdy.

Stronger plastic parts connecting the visor are needed and a solution to prevent visor freezing. The visor works very well. More importantly, it’s secure.

Cons

The helmet is uncomfortable the ears. The visor part keeps riding up toward my eyes which is awkward and uncomfortable. It's really unfortunate when a company gets a product 90% of the way there and then drops the ball like this.

I used the odoland visor helmet for 2 days of skiing.

Competitiveness

I have a much more expensive paragliding helmet that costs 7x this helmet with a similar visor design.

I got this because i am far-sighted and need glasses for upclose reading (phone, etc).
