If it's chilly out she wears a thin balaclava to stay extra warm. My son loves this helmet, the helmet fitted perfectly and made his head very warm! My head is 59. Inches and the ear flaps are very comfortable and stay put.
Ordered the xsmall for my 8 year old daughter. Bought this for my 5 year old for our skiing trip. It is my grandson's favorite color, so it is a big hit with him.
The dial adjustable liner, for great fit. The adjustable knob in the back makes a perfect fit!

Cons
It crushes the side of my head and the front of the helmet sits at 2 above my eyebrows. Cracked helmet and unable to use again.
