The replacement part works fine. This fit perfectly and performs perfectly as well. Perfect replacement for my fried capacitor. Great replacement lid.

The genteq one is slightly shorter than the old ge capacitor it replaces. Be sure to match the mfd ratings and other specs to your old capacitor. The size is smaller than original capacitor from carrier unit, but it is compatible and works well.

Amazon's quick delivery got me out of a jam during 90 degree weather, and installing myself in 15 minutes saved about $250!

Seller sent item quickly and item worked as promised.

Had minor issue with delivery and initially blamed seller, but i was wrong.

Packaging/appearance

Returned the first one as amazon ships in a bag and the part only comes in a flimsy box.

It was dented in several places and i did not want to take a chance.

I checked the run capacitor and found the top of it was "domed" upwards, a sure sign it needs replaced.
