Pros

The lens slides on to the camera from the side and clicks into place with 2 little nubs that slide into the grooves on the a119. Clips on easily to the dash cam.

Make sure to keep the glass in its factory preset position. Filter reduces glare from your hood, windshield, other cars' windshields, ground surface.

Cons

Video is not clear and like hawkeye. Filter has fallen off a dozen times in the month and a half.

I was so impressed by the improved video quality that i decided to buy a cpl filter for my camera:-)

Excellent fit and function on my viofo dash cam.

Installed a viofo dashcam and the reflective glare from the dash made it almost unusable during the day.

I’m accustomed to polarizing filters that can be rotated to reduce the maximum amount of glare, but this one does not spin.

Price

The price seems very reasonable given the increase in video quality due to glare reduction.

The price is too high for what it does.

I think the filter is overpriced for what it is, but it does work well.

Competitiveness

If viofo won't sell the camera with an appropriate light shield, they really should think about bundling this in with their dashcams.

Found out these also work for another brand that is no longer on amazon.
