Two thumbs up. Cleans up well. No regret at all.

Add cheesecloth to the strainer. The strainer catches the larger particulates while the cheesecloth filters all the very fine materials.

Cons

It says it holds 4 quarts. The lid just sits on top with no sealing at all after you remove 8 oz. It needs a couple handles too as very heavy when full and if oily & slips from hands or you slip on an oily floor on the way to fridge.

I am very disappointed with the company who made this bacon grease container. Terribly dribbly. What a mess.

The description says “flip-top lid; locking clamp closure’. It has a flip top with no closing mechanism. Mine new out of the box has a small opening on the lid because it cannot close all the way.

It’s super easy to use, and super sturdy.

I used it for the first time last night, and i was utterly surprised at how well it strained the grease!

It does the strainer works good, but i do put a coffee filter on top of it to catch the very fine particles.

Price

I’m saving big bucks on frying oil, being able to store and reuse.

Overal it still saves you money by saving your oil for a couple more uses.
