Each piece just barely sits on top of the ridges of the holder next to it. Each piece sits just above the ridge of the next piece.

These are a thicker than i thought, very durable!
Great product- makes me feel like i am organized and had enough sets for 2 drawers.
These do not "lock together" they attach nicely but with too much movement or sliding it can come loose.
Use double sided tape to help it from sliding

Looks good, but one did arrive cracked.
