Pros & Cons
Pros
It's hard to find real mirin in my local stores. Our grocery stores barely have an imported foods section. Used it to make teriyaki sauce for my chicken, used it for potato mochi.
This one has all natural ingredients, without artificial additions. It has no corn syrup and provides a very subtle flavor. Its certified organic. No added sugar is a keyingredient.
Cons
The expiration date on the bottle is noted as 06/21. Dropping it is on me, but it fell on thick carpet.
Highlights
Quality
This is a good quality mirin that tastes great.
Great for cooking and best mirin i’ve tried so far.
Also this is made and bottled in japan and is clearly labeled as a product of japan.
There is a screw cap, no leakage.
Price
It cost a bit more, but worth it - great flavor and consistency.
I see that the price has gone up since i bought it in february for $10.
I probably won’t buy it again at that price even though i prefer organic.
Shipping
Take the time and find a seller that offers free shipping!
Packaging/appearance

It didn't look like too much was missing from the bottle thankfully.
The bottles came individually wrapped in bubble wrap, which i am grateful for.
The safety seal around the outside was intact but the lid had broken so there was mirin everywhere inside the package.
Competitiveness
There may be better out there, but this is by far the best i have tried.
Aji mirin is merely sugar water in comparison.
Fortunately, you can find it online, and, with some searching, can find some better deals.
There is no comparison between this true mirin and the clear, pale yellow variety of aji-mirin you find in most large grocery stores.
