Pros

Easy to move around without * into walls. A breeze to retract. When extended all you have to do is press the two sliding * toward the bottom to automatically retract. Extending is even easier, just lift up on the top rung and push it up.

For a home diyr this is perfect. I needed a bigger ladder, but space is a premium. Bought for use with my rv. I am a 72 year old woman who needed to paint a 16' ceiling over a staircase.

I love the way it collapses down and fits easily in my vehicle. It goes up and down so smoothly with just a touch of the locking *. I see no downsides to this ladder, it is easy to carry and store.

Bottom this thing works great and just as advertised. It's still usable but not ideal.

Cons

Company says it is out of warranty. Terrible warranty. What is most shocking is that didn't ask for either ladder to be returned so they could investigate as to why these ladders continue to fail. It's more money down the drain for a faulty product.

Tends to slide laterally when surface is wet. Has zero grip for hardwood floors. Stopped collapsing on last rung after 2 months.

It's defective, dangerous and unusable. This ladder has two design choices that are problematic. The second issue is significantly less important but still annoying.

Price

Price was reasonable making it a good value.

Packaging/appearance

This allows me to climb up into the attic then step off of the ladder.

Competitiveness

We bought this for my husbands company.

My first order for a telescoping ladder was a no-name 14 1/2 foot model.

I notified ohuhu of the problem and, within days, received a new ladder replacement.
