Pros & Cons

Pros

All in all - i’m a big proponent of this for anyone who doesn’t want to go through with renting the gas powered aerator. The tool is great.

The handles have a nice padding on them that makes in comfortable to use. Comes with 2 fabric cups to hold the debris and a tool to push the core out.

The equipment is quite sturdy. My one concern is where the metal parts are welded together and their sturdiness at those points.

Poking holes only further compacts the dirt, so core removal is best to fully help aerate the yard. My yard is very compacted and my previous aerator broke. I have a small area in my backyard that is being stubborn with growing grass.

Cons

During use, the nuts that hold it together start to loosen and need retightening. The aerator holes get clogged up and require frequent clearing with the included tool. Very thin and weak metal.

This review is for the ohuhu core aerator lawn tool.
