Some other brands use especially cheap dry wood that leaves blowout on the edges

I did not trust drywall to hold up a heavy electric guitar since the weight may tend to pull the upper screw out of the drywall so these were mounted into wood

My only recommendation beyond them is to get a bit of soft padding for where the bottom of your guitar will rest against the wall to prevent them scratching each other but that has nothing to do with the performance of the hanger itself
