Pros

Great surf rod. The craftsmanship is top notch. No stiffness nor any cracks have happen. Uses top-tier components.

Light, sensitive and strong. Powerful and graceful like a ballerina. Great for pencil poppers for strippers.

The rod is paired with a penn 6500 spinfisher spinning reel. It excels casting, casting reel or spinning. Bought this to pair with a daiwa bg 3000 series reel for an obx surf-fishing trip.

This rod is a great buy imo - i do a lot of surf fishing, especially for pompano in the winter here in florida. Rod looks and feels amazing matches my 6500 abu black and blue rocket great rod seems to have great action but havent used it yet.

Amazon would be well served to check the boasting of there venders so there customers don't get burnt. Ordered same stick twice from amazon. Returned both due to arriving damaged.

My saint croix legend is better overall, it has a stronger backing, but its 3x the price.

Paired with a diawa bg, couldn't be happier.

Cast a 3oz weight 75-100 yards est, smooth and looks good too.

Matched to my daiwa saltist 15 p conventional, it sings with a 9strand 30lb braid.

A baitcaster doesn't need a large guide so i bought it.
