This is made of plastic straw for outdoor use, note: it will degrade and fall apart after 6 to 12 months if outside 24/7, this rug looks much better then the product photos, i have the black and cream colored rug and it looks very nice on my patio, it comes well packaged and will need to be unfolded and sit in the sun for a few hours to flatten out.  Read Less
