Pros

Much faster bootup and access times. Cold startup used to take at least a minute; now a cold start is often complete in 15 secs. Works just fine in my desktop pc.

This is an upgrade that is worth every penny. It saturates my sata ii 3. Drive. Great bang for the buck.

Great ssd for the price. Replaced my 500gb hdd in my toshiba p705-p35. Had already maxed out my ram from crucial as well. This drive is a beast.

Cons

Using ssd is not good for backing up information reading and writing, do not last long for this kind of work. The drive appears to make bit-locker partitions self destruct. Going with the samsung 1tb ssd instead.

I have a 256gb of the same model as my alternate boot drive.

I wish i had gone with a 500gb ssd instead, but i eventually replaced this with the 850 evo 500gb.
