Pros

Very affordable. What a godsend. Works with pc or mac, but you may need to download the software onto your computer to get it work right. Great storage for videos and photos. Great datum protection for your tb.

Cons

Seagate wants $600+ to recover the data. If you're going to be using it to store files that you need to access and modify constantly, or run programs off of it, this is not a good choice. After re-formatting for windows still only saw 2 tb. Do yoursel... Read More

Disappointing product. Oh, the packaging can't be seen on the website. I have a newer version of this hard drive and it died within 6 months.

It comes with a meager one year warranty. Died after 8 months of day to day use.

The auto-sleep is obnoxious and destructive to files and the drive itself. It has been plugged & unplugged maybe 10 times in that period. The hard drive goes to sleep in the middle of rendering for an hour or two.
