Pros & Cons
Pros
Buck is still pretty good quality even though most of them are foreign made. The bronze ends look very nice and sleek, and the overall appearance of the knife is great. If you buy this knife when it comes in you will have to clean the brass to make it... Read More
The leather sheath is good quality, but is still made to fit the original version made before taylor bought out schrade. The knife fits a bit lose in the sheath but that’s preferable as it allows for a smooth draw. The stitches look relatively weak, b... Read More
The measurements are all in the correct ballpark. The blade has no wobble left or right, or up and down! Also, the handle is fitted right, and the pins are pinged almost perfect.
Cons
The quality of this knife is abysmal! The handle is made of cheap plastic, etc. One of the handles has a 32th of an inch gap where it is supposed to meet the brass. There were visible scratches on the brass ends.
Returned for refund. It's not worth the time to send it back.

This is a good knife for a great price and it has nice size to it.
Otherwise i’m pleased with it for the money spent.
Couldn't ask for more for the price
Packaging/appearance
And it came with a really nice carrying case!
It was loosly wrapped in the original paper inside the sheath, however clearly not 'factory' wrapped.
Came shaving sharp not a light knife but it is a work horse and that is what i was looking for.
Competitiveness
I am an avid knife enthusiast and have owned 100s of knives over the years this knife rivals more expensive knives.
This old timer is a better value than i first gave it credit for, and am now collecting other traditional knives made in china.
I have seen some reviews and can't see anyone giving this knife less than a 5 star rating, unless you have some manufacturers f... Read More
