Pros

The newer version is setup to use a 10440 rechargeable lithium battery as well as a aaa battery. Rechargeable battery’s seem to give the linens a boost.

The light output is simply amazing. Very pleased with the brightness and the simplicity of use. It's slim and very bright. It takes a second to ramp up the brightness.

Small and discreet so carrying is not a problem. It has a deep carry clip, the illumination for such a small device is incredible. Great for carrying something light without the bulk.

Cons

Olight i3t no longer works as advertised. Changing the battery did not fix this problem. I'm afraid that the light is going to short circuit or worse.

Packaging/appearance

Nice flashlight puts out lots of light in a litter package.

First of all, the black & gold dragon version looks super cool, and my wife loves the pink version.

I bought 5 for gift baskets and the ones that were sealed in box are great, the ones that were in a ziplock bag were wet and corroded.

Competitiveness

Plus, the light beam is better than others i've used.

I was completely surprised of how much brighter it was compared to the previous model.
