This handheld recorder is very simple to use. This recorder has all the options you will and is still small and compact.
The ws-883 is compact and lightweight. It’s not bulky, very lightweight, easy to set up, and easy to use. The button layout is super intuitive and makes it very easy to make any menu selection with one hand.

If you have ever been privy to gaslighting this is a must have. It picks up even the slightest sound which makes me relax when doing interviews. You don't have to worry about it having any tones to alert anyone to it’s presence.

Great features to organize your recordings and the device is well made.
This recorder feels great in hand and appears to be very well made and durable, built to withstand some heavy use over many, many years.
It requires two batteries instead of one and does not come with a storage pouch.
Sometimes records this size can be tricky like if you accidentally hit the wrong button you fail to record or recording is deleted.
Price
Fairly priced considering what you’re getting in features, design and function.
Overall i'm happy with mine, and the ws-883 offers reasonable value for the price as of this writing.
Packaging/appearance
This recorder looks very classic and nice, and it comes nicely packaged so it could work nicely as a gifting item.
Stereo microphones make a noticeable difference, and it's packed with features.
