Pros
Build quality is unbeatable with a chunky aluminium body. Olympus produce a threaded conversion ring (40. Mm) this is a nearly perfect compact for those who seek adventure. The 4k output is excellent and the image stabilisation does a great job.
Olympus tg-6 is waterproof and shockproof. Mega pixel sensor does a great job in al weather conditions. Great range for underwater photo-shoot.

Some functions are hidden deep within the menu trees. The footage is much better than my mobile phone that cost twice as much.

Cons
The camera feels flimsy and has a poor battery life. It randomly changes the iso when its in program mode to a ridiculous setting. Images are distorted in the corners and edges and give dreadful looking images.
Highlights
Quality
Image quality is the best i have ever seen from a compact and it has plenty of creative facilities.
Picture quality is good, thankfully it is tough so far i've knocked it against a few objects at work and it still works.
Downsides for me:image quality is below modern smartphone sensors and processing.
It may be due to my unfamiliarity with the olympus system but even after a few weeks of use i am still struggling with the menu system.
Price
Should have had an adaptor to take filter and lens cap in the price.

I have previously had the olympus tg-4, so i knew to expect a good camera in the tg-6.

There are also timelapse modes that will output 4k timelapse video.
Build/easy of usethe camera is rugged and feels good in the hand.
Here the nikon w300 and earlier panasonic ft3 and ft5 greatly outshine the olympus.

But if you love macro photography and are looking for an everydaycamera which can produce significantly better photos than your smartphone without needing an extra bag to carry it around the tg6 might be the camera for you

I would have liked a viewfinder but accept the compromise to give the ruggedness of the camera
