Pros
The unit is reasonably easy to take apart to clean. It is relatively quiet, easy to clean and produces a great juice with no pulp.
Compared to the juiceman, this thing is fabulous. I wish the outlet spout was slightly higher since we are juicing for 2 to 4 people. The juice is delicious and we use it several times a day to make fruit and vegetable juices.
The pulp is dry and the juice is only moderately aerated, which i think enhances the flavor. The pulp ejection system on this machine makes clean-up a breeze. Hint - depress plunger s-l-o-w- l-y.
Both machines have a * that you feed fruits & vegatables into. The machine really gobbles up the pieces and has lots of semi-quiet power. The feed * is now large enough to handle all but the very largest carrots.
On the 1000, it continues to spin for much longer because of the heavy food in the drum, dribbling all the while and sometimes walking across your countertop!
Cons
I have a juice man jr that lasted years longer than this until the blades dulled. And now it's past the the time allotted to return items. I'm horribly disappointed.

It is the first juicer that equals the strength and quality construction of my first work horse.
Best juicer i've ever owned and it comes apart to clean really easy and simple.
Cramming the contents down the chute too hard or fast can leave bigger chunks in the collector so go slow for the most juice.
I've used it repeatedly and never shows signs of wear.
Price
For the price point i would strongly recommend this juicer!

Competitiveness
For the price, it makes perfect sense to get one of these centrifuges over a low speed juicer or any more expensive rivals.
This juicer is superior to the one i had, that looked just like it from omega for 25 to 30 years!

I would agree with other reviewers on practically every point and add that even if you dont clean it immediately after use that it is stain resistant and will come clean even with dried residue on the screen

Depending on what you juice it might start to smell like some fermentation is occuring though and you will attract fruit flies

I used to have one and last more than 15 years i bought another brand and didn’t like it because the pulp was coming out wet and with most of the juice and then i decided to go back to this one and was the best choice no mess and you get all the juice from the fruit and vegetables
