Since you can no longer get the live version, these are a good substitute. Much better buy with the large container as opposed to buying the small containers at pet stores.
These worms never go to waste therefore there isn't alot of food debris that breaks down in the tank. Packaged well and also packed with a freshness packet to keep the worms dry.
My little froggie loves this stuff. My african dwarf frog loves it. My guppies love this stuff!

If you google tubifex worms youll find tons or horror stories about parasites and diseases transmitted to aquarium fish

While i am sure this is generally true of live tubifex worms and many other live foods i have been feeding freeze dried tubifex worms from 3 different brands for the past 8 months without problems
