Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The small size of the pellets is perfect for feeding both adults and juveniles. Works well in my auto feeder (ehiem) my biggest oscar isn't able to eat the large size from this same brand and company but these it should have no problems eating.

My severums, angels, parrots, blue redtail botias and plecos go crazy for this food. My mbuna cichlids love it. Been feeding this to my africans for years. Specie.

A bit pricey, but seems to be worth it. Great value. Nls spectrum & algea max (since mbunas need more veggies) but they like the omega one the best.

Cons

Fish are too big to be satisfied by flakes so i was trying to go bulk. At least with floating if put too much in they float. These pellets sink way too fast for most of my fish to get.

Quality

Omega one has some excellent quality fish food.

No ash, no fish meal, high quality protein, vitamins and color enhancers to keep your fish bright and healthy.

A few times a week freeze dried tubifex worms and once in a while some frozen brine shrimp.

The pellets do sink if not carefully put in the aquarium and it says it floats.

Price

My 3rd year ordering gone up tremendously in price though but would highly recommend

Fish love this, and it's cheaper than going to the pet store to buy it.

Huge it’s over a pound for $20.

A bit pricey, but seems to be worth it.

Shipping

Competitiveness

Best fish food i bought better than tetra, or the other brands out there one the market, fish look bigger and better

My angels love these so much that when i give them other brands they just spit it out.

They all cost (per ounce) much more than omega one -- as much as four times as expensive.

Severum, and some random south american catfish i forgot the name of all go nuts for this brand.
